With effect from the 14th January 2005 Freight Fowarders are no longer allowed to sell on, include in freight charges or administer insurance on behalf of their customers unless they are registered with the Financial Services Authority.

This change means that unless your Freight Forwarder is registered you will have to arrange your own Cargo Insurance. GoCargoInsurance was set up specifically for that purpose. With GoCargoInsurance you will be able to: -

How complicated is it to buy online?

We have worked hard at building an engine that is both simple to use and intuitive. Drakefield Insurance Services Limited operates a number of consumer websites and we have learned that to be successful the sites need to be simple to use.

Is the site secure?

Once you login to the system you are protected by Secure Socket Layer security that encrypts your data as it is sent to and from the server. We do not store credit card information in our database.

Our payments are handled by Worldpay (A Royal Bank of Scotland company) and Barclays Merchant Services Limited. We currently handle 100's of thousands of credit card transaction a year online.

Will you bombard me with junk mail and website advertising?

We totally respect your privacy and will only send you emails to do with your direct queries of purchases. We do not plan to have pop-up advertising on this site.
